the day after christmas: it always feels a little sad to me. i guess i still haven't let go of being a kid and the feeling of the "magic" being over gets me every time. my christmas was perfectly spent with my family and my boyfriend's family. my boyfriend is taking me to catalina for a night sometime in the next week or two. i haven't been in years and can't wait to hop on a boat and spend the day feeling so far away from reality. we sort of escaped reality today when we decided to take a drive to the nearest lake. it was so desolate and deserted that we were able to dance around in the middle of the street taking these photos in gorgeous sunlight... pretty cold, but the views were breathtaking.
