apologies for the shit ton of pictures and crazy ocean hair.
after spending the entire day at the beach, we ended up in hillcrest. we ate THE most delicious mediterranean food, followed by somehow ending up in a store that sold snakes and pipes (i'm obsessed with snakes, by the way. i really want to have my own), then wandered into a pretty decent vintage/consignment shop... which is where i found this perfect vintage leather jacket. i've been looking for a true biker jacket for as long as i can remember, but can NEVER afford them... especially one with detail like this one has. and to top it off? the label is "CALIFORNIA RIDER". fucking perfect. and i got it for $55... which is a STEAL compared to other jackets like this one. i'll keep this baby for life.
this beach is going to be my new favorite place to escape to on weekends. it looked and felt like hawaii. the lighting while we were taking these photos was unparalleled- the photos do not do it justice. sigh. can't wait to get back there.
i'm in the process of trying to decide if i'm going to stay in echo park or move to the beach when my lease is up in a month. the only thing stopping me from choosing the beach is the cost of apartments there... but maybe, just maybe, i'll make it work. here's hoping. need to get my ass as close to the water as possible. i think i've had enough of east hollywood, as much as i've always loved it here... it's gorgeous, but i think i'm ready for a big change.

first off, i've always wanted a snake!
I have the same experience with biker jackets. i've been looking for one forever but they never fit right and when they do are wayyy expensive. my jaw literally dropped when i read the price! that is awesome.
well, hope you end up living by the beach.
also, do you mind if i post some of your photos on my tumblr? i just realized that i don't think i have ever asked your permission. i always set a click through link!

You look so stunning! I love those shoes, I think they might be my favorites that you own, also I love the camouflage ones.. Good luck in your decision process on perhaps moving to the coast! It would be beautiful, especially in the summer time!

Such a cool look. Love the cut offs as well as those awesome boots. Great photos!
Obsviously cool photos and style. amazing!
Wow wow wow. I am just in awe of your style (sounds creepy right?).
I found my biker jacket at a thrift store, I could see that it was barely worn and it cost me 17,50 euro!! I had to cut out the ridiculous shoulder padding because it was an actual biker jacket and not just for style haha! I also really love your boots! xx
