really obsessed with this pair of odd vintage boots i found at a vintage shop yesterday... i hate sandals (except for the single pair that i own- but they've finally fallen apart) so i've decided that these are my "summer boots", since they're kind of open...?
ahhh... i will NEVER get tired of watching the sun set over the lake from my roof... i can't wait to get some chairs up here. if i ever go missing, i'm actually probably just asleep with a book in my lap in a lounge chair on my roof. always check there before calling the cops.

Neutral toned outfits are so interesting. It's a look that I've yet to tire of.
I used to hate sandals. I had this wierd aversion from having taken ballet lessons for years. We had to keep out toe nails groomed and quite short (I still do). One day in a public restroom I saw that the feet of a woman in the neighboring stall were adorned with dirty flip flops and long, long toe nails. I couldn't wear sandals for years after seeing that. But last summer I found a pair that looked too metal or rock n' roll to pass up. Thus, the curse of my sandal aversion was broken. Still, I split footwear time between them and my beloved vintage black cowboy boots in the heat.
