sometimes (monthly) i have an existential crisis and contemplate living in the woods alone, a la walden.
nothing happens to provoke this... it's just a thing that my brain does naturally.
i've been walking my dog 5 times a day, taking him to my favorite secluded beach in Malibu, and being a general recluse. it's great.
i'm attempting to get back into regular posting and start accomplishing some of the things i said i would do. adopting a wolf-dog, trying to find a new place to live, having an existential crisis, and trying to grow a small business is some time consuming shit, let me tell you.
obviously, none of that rambling is as important as fuzzy cow print shorts.

Fuzzy cow shorts do take the cake. They are cow-tastic (wow that was a real lame dad joke right there). But sincerely ? A little tree house in the woods does sound nice from many a time to time.

love it. all. things have become so "time consuming" on my end that i've planned a month (maybe longer) trip to tennessee where i plan on sitting in my dads garden and reading the books i've bought in the last 5 months here in l.a. but haven't read. he is growing everything under the sun and he is going to eat vegetarian the entire time i'm there, but he doesn't know that yet. it is a goal of mine to spoil his taste buds into it :)
anyhow i guess i'm saying i feel ya with the whole "woods" thing. i'm sure your wolf would love it...

Actually I find the rambling quite refreshing and just as important as the shorts (though they are quite praise worthy!). We have a wolf (on the d.l.--we tell everyone she is a white German Sheppard) and she is the best dog ever. Very good with kids, very timid in fact, but I am confident that if we had a break in or something, she would rip some shit up.

i'm admiring the shit out of the camel rug, in what I assume is the tunnel vision studio. awesome decor, all around. I completely support the living in the woods plan. Sometimes (all the time) I catch myself daydreaming about living on a ranch in montana with a giant pack of dogs. Totally gonna make that my reality. obviously, cow print shorts are the best thing i've seen in my life.

I use to have existential crises monthly, recently it's only been every other month...But every time I renounce society (and my blog) and vow to go live in a cottage on a secluded beach. Hasn't happened yet, but I imagine when I'm old I will be a recluse with lots of cats.

This is ridic, you are talking about wearing leather and being a vegan. It doesn't matter if it is vintage, used, or whatever the fuck you want to call it, it is still LEATHER.
And you were talking about not endorsing brands like forever 21, but clearly I've seen you do posts where you've worn forever 21 jackets, so you have no leg to stand on with that argument either.
But you want to talk about the poor condition and the way the products are made.
If you are so strongly opposed to those issues then you wouldn't buy those products whether its used or not. If you know how the product was made, then that should be enough for you not to wear the products altogether.
It's like saying I am a vegetarian and I go to mcdonald's to eat a burger out of the trash, it doesn't matter because it's used and it's okay.
